Paws and Claws is a fictional holistic animal hospital, another medical approach for pet owners to provide natural remedies for their pets. The Paws and Claws brand has a logo and stationery design consisting of a business card, letterhead, and a number 10 business envelope. The target audience would be pet owners who would like to explore a new approach of treatment that is on the natural side for their pet to feel better. The software used was Adobe Illustrator and InDesign. Adobe Illustrator was great for creating the logo, while InDesign served as the page layout for the letterhead, business card, and number 10 envelope. The design intent of the composition was for the logo and stationery to be simple while reflecting the calm environment and naturalistic approach to medicine.

When brainstorming logo ideas, I kept using the paw shape to represent a pet seeking treatment. However, since this is no ordinary animal hospital with a natural/holistic approach to treating sick pets, I wanted to incorporate the natural method into the logo. The holistic representation is in the form of a leaf or a vine with leaves.

I chose the first option because it had the simplest representation of the brand and the most straightforward concept connected to it. It is a universal symbol for what it means, so it made the most logical choice to select this one over the other options. I also liked the pick has a bold script style typeface with a sans-serif typeface.
